Wednesday, 18th December: Warhol created a series showing endangered animals in his zany pop art style. To tie in with the major Warhol exhibition at the Tate this Spring – click here!
Session 2: Thursday, 19th December – Snowmen!
Thursday, 19th December: Learn how to use line, shadow and light to create 3-dimensionality and create a snowman at night!
Session 3: Monday, 23rd December – Ancient Greeks!
Monday, 23rd December: How far were the Greek myths based on fact? Did the city of Troy truly exist? Was Helen the most beautiful woman in the world? To tie in with the blockbuster exhibition at the British Museum Troy: Myth and Reality
Session 4: Friday, 27th December – Egyptian Art!
Friday, 27th December: To tie in with the major Tutankhamen exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh
Session 5: Thursday, 2nd January – Portraits!
Thursday, 2nd January: Portraits – How to draw a human face!
Friday, 3rd January: Fathers of modern art, Cezanne and Matisse were highly influential – learn about these seminal artists and create an art work in their styles!
Age: suitable for children aged 4 – 12 Time: 10.00am – 1.00pm
