New Leonardo da Vinci drawing discovered

A 530 year old pen and ink sketch of St Sebastian by Leonardo da Vinci was identified this week – found by a French doctor.  Valued at just under £12.5 million, the beautifully executed highly expressive drawing shows the muscular Saint bound to a tree in a desolate landscape and looking to Heaven.  The exciting find is the first new da Vinci to come to light since 2000 and may be subject to an export ban to allow the French government time to purchase it at market value.
