Programme Notes

Japanese Art Katsushika Hokusai’s beautiful artworks inspired a generation of 19th
century European artists including van Gogh – to tie in with Hokusai’s fab new exhibition at British Museum – link here
Spooky Pumpkins I / Spooky Pumpkins II Halloween fun at KidsArt – spooky pumpkins, using shading and shadows!   Note: afternoon is a repeat of the morning session

Chris Ofili Ofili was the 1st black artist to win the Turner prize in 2013 – famously working with elephant dung (we won’t be!) he creates lyrical artworks which are represented in galleries across the world
Haunted Houses Architecture plus oil pastel/watercolour resist – think like an architect plus lots of Halloween fun!
