Tomma Abts at the Serpentine Sackler – until 9 Sept. 2018

Fimme, 2013

Small (48cm x 38cm), perfect, mesmerising, geometric patterns and optical illusions, this exhibition brings together works over the last 10 years of Tomma Abts (b. 1967, Kiel, Germany), winner of the 2006 Turner Prize.

‘It is a completely open process, starting from a point of nothing, with no guaranteed outcome, every single time.  I am not making process painting; the process is always directed at the final image, and the precise definition of it.’,  Abts.

Showing over the summer holidays at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery!
