Session 1: Monday 27th July – Vincent van Gogh

Explore movement, colour, and expression through Vincent van Gogh’s iconic paintings

Session 2: Tuesday 28th July – Henri Matisse 

Explore the vibrant world of Matisse, the King of Colour

Session 3: Wednesday 29th July – Frida Kahlo’s portraits 

Art, flowers and imagination – to tie in with the blockbuster Kahlo exhibition at Tate Modern 

Session 4: Thursday 30th July – Pop Art Buildings 

Explore the joyful pop art world of James Rizzi and create your own pop art cityscape 

Session 5: Friday 31st July – Damien Hirst 

Brilliant wings and sparkling Dragonflies 

Session 6: Monday 24th August – Myths Monsters and Masterpieces 

Ancient Greece art explorers 

Session 7: Tuesday 25th August – Colour shape pattern and portraiture 

Inspired by contemporary Canadian artist Sandra Silberzweig  

Session 8: Wednesday 26th August – Claude Monet’s Magical Landscapes 

Painting with light Impressionist-style

Session 9: Thursday 27th August – Henry Moore  

Discovering one of the best-known 20th century British artists, to tie in with the Moore exhibition at Kew  

Session 10: Friday 28th August – Jungle Dreams and Magical Chameleons  

Explore the joyful art of Henri Rousseau, France’s most famous and best loved self-taught artist

Cost:  £45 per child per session / £200 for any 5 sessions for 1 child

Session 1: Monday 27th October – Henri Matisse

French artist Henri Matisse shook up the art world and left his mark forever – a Master of Modern Art!

Session 2: Tuesday 28th October – Pop art Lichtenstein faces

American artist Roy Lichtenstein is famous for his dotty pop art faces

Session 3: Wednesday 29th October – Frida Kahlo portraits

Mexico’s most famous artist, Frida Kahlo painted herself again and again – “it’s what I know best”

Session 4: Thursday 30th October – O’Keeffe Autumn

Create a beautiful autumn scene and learn about American Modernist, Georgia O’Keeffe

Session 5: Friday 31st October – Halloween special!! Cubist witch faces

Pablo Picasso created a whole new art movement – create a Cubist Halloween masterpiece!

Create shimmering seas & sparkling fish, learn oil pastel / watercolour resist techniques 

Session 3: Thursday 31st July – Outer Space Adventure: Peter Thorpe-inspired

Blast off! Thorpe’s vibrant, energetic rockets soar with energy, powered by his love of space travel

Session 4: Friday 1st August – Jungle Safari with Henri Rousseau

Rousseau’s whimsy, dreamlike paintings are loved worldwide, most determined self-taught artist in art history!  

Session 5: Monday 4th August – Treasure Maps and Pirate Art

Ahoy artists! Paint your own pirate map filled with secrets, symbols and adventure!

Session 6: Tuesday 5th August – Fairy-tale Worlds: Marc Chagall

Russian artist Chagall created magical, topsy-turvy worlds where people float, animals fly and dreams come to life

Session 7: Wednesday 6th August – Japanese Classical Art

Dive into the peace, calm and harmony of traditional Japanese Art

Session 8: Thursday 7th August – Shapes and patterns! Abstract Art

Discover the Elements of Art – shape, line, colour, pattern, texture and space, and create your own abstract adventure

Session 9: Friday 8th August –Vincent Van Gogh Flowers

Van Gogh, one of the world’s most iconic artists, transforming art forever with his vibrant, energetic paintings 

Session 10: Monday 11th August – Ancient Egyptian Art

Discover the mysteries of Ancient Egypt through art – we will work with clay at Finchley and with paint at Muswell Hill
