February Half-Term Programme 2018

Session A: Monday, 12th February – Amedeo Modigliani with Clay!

Monday 12th February :  Modigliani with Clay – Modigliani (1884 – 1920) painter and sculptor, best known for his portraits of women with elongated faces and figures.  We will use clay to create a sculpture in his style.  Timed to coincide with the major exhibition at Tate Modern, click Modigliani!

Session 1 (Repeat of Session A): Tuesday, 13th February – Amedeo Modigliani with Clay!

Session 2: Wednesday, 14th February – Valentines Day at KidsArt!

Wednesday 14th February :  Valentine’s Day Pop Art style!  We will create a Valentine themed Pop Art painting, and learn about the history of Valentine’s Day, and also the Pop Art movement

Session 3: Thursday, 15th February – Harry Potter returns to KidsArt!

Thursday 15th February:  Hone your drawing skills as Harry Potter returns to KidsArt for the 20th anniversary of the publication of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” and last few weeks of the British Library exhibition Harry Potter: A History of Magic

We will learn how to draw the human face and use our knowledge to draw Harry Potter characters


Age:  suitable for children aged 5-13 – Time: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm – Place:  all sessions at the KidsArtStudio

Cost:  £35 per session per child (payable on booking, please)

What’s included:  Art tuition, materials and snacks. 

Consent:  Booking implies consent to use of your child’s art work on the KidsArt!  website and facebook page

Cancellation policy:  We are unable to refund but you may send another child not already booked in your child’s place
