—  Week 1  

Monday, 6 April – Session 1 David Hockney!   Foremost living British artist today – to tie in with the exhibition drawing from life  due to open at National Portrait Gallery 
Tuesday, 7 April – Session 2 Japanese Art!   Yayoi Kusama, hugely popular contemporary Japanese artist well-known for her spotty sculptures and pictures, and infinite mirror rooms, Infinity Mirror Rooms  due to show at Tate Modern
Wednesday, 8 April – Session 3 Pop Art Buildings!   American Pop Art is all about fun with colour and shape – paint James Rizzi style Pop Art Buildings and learn colour theory!
Thursday, 9 April – Session 4 Picasso!   Spanish-born, Pablo Picasso, Giant of Modern Art, would often paint animals to represent ideas and people – learn about his life and art, and paint a Picasso-style Cockerel! 
Friday, 10 April – Session 5 Georgia O’Keeffe!   O’Keeffe painted nature to show how it made her feel – one of America’s most famous artists!

—  Week 2  — 

Monday, 13 April – Session 6 Pop Art Animals!   Pop Art began in the 1950s, a joyful exuberant reaction to the end of wartime austerity  – lots of fun with colour theory and learn about endangered animals
Tuesday, 14 April – Session 7  Russian Buildings!   Russian architecture, famous for its beautiful, highly-coloured, onion-domed buildings – learn about iconic St Basil’s Cathedral, Moscow and Russian architecture in art!
Wednesday, 15 April – Session 8 Monet Impressionism!   Impressionism shook the art world forever and began Modern Art – Find out why and learn to paint like an Impressionist 
Thursday, 16 April – Session 9  Breaching Whales!   Learn about the largest mammals in the world, and how we can protect them; set against a beautiful sunset painting
Friday, 17 April – Session 10 Cezanne meets Matisse!   Learn about these trail-blazers for the Modern Art Movement!
